在台灣，只要提到P2P點對點檔案傳輸共享軟體，使用者一定會想到FOXY、Ezpeer、BT、eMule等知名軟體，但是此次要介紹的產品，是一款完全open sourse且介面乾淨、完全沒有任何廣告與間諜軟體的P2P軟體噢！這個程式就叫做FrostWire。
FrostWire除了支援BT的通訊協定之外，亦可與目前最夯的itune相容；此外，除強調其迅捷的下載速度與強大的搜尋能力之外，新版本更改善了使用者介面，使其更為美觀好用，還貼心地提供了用戶群小聊天室呢！
而由於是open source的關係，FrostWire相容性也相當地高，原先已提供Mac OS X與 Linux兩種版本，當前版本甚至可支援Android，是不是很厲害呢？
也正因為原始碼公開，幾乎不用擔心本款軟體會私下蒐集使用者個人情資，所以能安心使用。
其實FrostWire的強大之處還不只如此，它也具備了穿透防火牆的功能，因此使用者不用擔心被防火牆給擋住，仍然能夠盡情的分享檔案噢！
