AIMP2是一套擁有全功能的音樂播放軟體，除了可以讓使用者自訂功能外，也有像EQ等化器、 視覺特效，甚至是倒數計時自動關機的功能，它都內建在裡面了。 此外，雖然介面很像傳統的WinAMP軟體，但容易操作和高實用性，則是它的特色之一。
