Kindle for PC提供一個用電腦看amazon kindle書籍的方法，amazon提供超過950,000(95萬)的kindle書籍，現在不需要使用Kindle這個設備，就可在您的電腦上直接觀看，若已經有Kindle了，則可以使用同步化技術同步您的書籤、筆記等資訊。
- 使用Kindle for PC可以讓我們只要使用電腦，就可以觀看為數眾多的Kindle電子書，在沒有Kindle的情形下，也能享受到電子書的便利之處。
- 提供同步化技術(Whispersync technology syncs)，可以同步在不同閱讀設備間的資訊，如上次閱讀的頁次、書籤、記要、高亮度提醒等。
- 使用內建的字典，可以在閱讀外國書籍(英文、德文)，直接查找不了解的單字，而不需要有跳出到字典工具做查詢，讓閱讀動作被打斷的情形。
